    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a motivated and organized Coordinator for our Ancillary Services Team to play a crucial role in helping facilitate referrals, navigating patients, and training others while serving our patients with hospitality and StrideCare values. This individual will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient processing of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) referrals, enhancing the seamless experience for our patients and healthcare providers, and embodying our core values in daily operations. This role involves maintaining excellent relationships with providers, clinic managers, and our patients while driving process improvements within our operations. The position also may provide training and opportunities for employees to receive training in diabetic shoe fitting. 

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily Order Management & Workflow: Efficiently manage incoming orders, verification, scheduling, and order corrections, ensuring a consistent workflow for timely service delivery.
    • Patient Case Management: Use case management systems for tracking and prioritizing patient orders from initiation to completion, focusing on critical dates for timely care.
    • Documentation & Insurance Handling: Maintain comprehensive documentation in the EMR, including all case updates, insurance verifications, and authorizations, through portals and direct communication with insurers.
    • Patient Communication & Scheduling: Maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients using the HELP model (Hospitality, Empathy, Leadership & Purpose), managing service scheduling and following a structured approach for patient outreach and case escalation. Employees may be asked to build schedules in EMR as directed. 
    • Operational Excellence: All team members are given space to seek continuous process improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and patient satisfaction, keeping abreast of industry standards and innovative practices.
    • Teamwork & Training: Collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, and external partners for seamless service delivery. Coordinate and train staff in scheduling and processing, sharing knowledge to foster professional growth and a culture of continuous learning

     

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • At least 2 years of supervisory experience 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • A strong understanding of clinical operations and proven experience in physician engagement.
    • Proficiency in EMR/practice management systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
