The Technical Services Assistant Vice President (AVP) is a pivotal role, placing significant emphasis on the Technical Asset Management of ACG’s owned and managed aircraft. This includes providing crucial guidance, support, and training to the Marketing team on technical matters, with a specific focus on Letters of Intent (LOI) and lease preparation and negotiation. Daily responsibilities encompass providing support and guidance to current lessees and ensuring an up-to-date maintenance status for all aircraft in ACG’s fleet.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Transition Management Emphasis:

Lead and oversee seamless transition projects, ensuring the effective return from current lessees and timely execution of aircraft delivery or lease transfer projects. Work in tandem with manufacturers and service providers to deliver necessary services, materials, or documents

Negotiate and manage return conditions, setting reserve and return compensation rates, and approving maintenance work to safeguard asset value during transitions

Act as a key member of the leasing team, driving negotiations across global locations and completing lease agreements with a sharp focus on transition projects

Demonstrate a profound understanding of EASA and FAA regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the transition process
Marketing and Aircraft Sales Support:

Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to support aircraft placement with lessees

Assist in the negotiation and development of Letters of Intent and Lease Agreements, ensuring commercial soundness and rationale

Provide technical data, documentation, and commercial negotiation support to the Aircraft Trading team, with the acquisition / disposal of aircraft and RFP products
General Responsibilities:

Minimize used aircraft transition costs by effectively managing delivery conditions, modifications, and maintenance contributions

Train and inform the technical, marketing, and finance teams on industry changes affecting asset value and maintenance costs

Coordinate with the wider technical team to ensure proper definition of modifications, delivery conditions, redelivery conditions, and maintenance events in leases

Handle special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience and ideally a proven aviation industry track record in aircraft asset management

Excellent technical knowledge of aircraft specifically, Boeing 737NG and Airbus A320 families

Knowledge of aircraft transition management in leasing, airlines or MROs
-
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance programs, modifications, and aircraft technical records

Excellent knowledge of aircraft lease documentation and maintenance risk exposure
-
Understanding of aviation and aircraft certification requirements and associated regulations

Familiarity with Aircraft technical publications such as AMM’s, IPC’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s

Familiarity with Aircraft maintenance programs, records, and related technical documentation

Familiarity with OEM data systems such as MyBoeingFleet and Airbus World
