Head of IT Services

We are expanding our Technology team and are currently looking for a Head of IT Services to join the team. 

As the Head of IT Services, you will lead VGW's global IT activities, overseeing technical operations, IT projects, the IT Service Desk and ensuring our IT infrastructure is secure and efficient.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading VGW's IT Services department globally, managing a diverse team of skilled professionals and ensuring high-performance and strategic planning
• Ensuring systems and data security, managing risks, and collaborating with stakeholders for effective IT operations and disaster recovery planning
• Developing and overseeing the IT budget, strategising on resourcing needs, and working with senior stakeholders to align IT with business goals
• Continuously improve processes and technology by analysing performance metrics, feedback and data to ensure that IT Services align with business needs

What you will bring to the role:

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, paired with 8 years of experience in IT operations
• Proven expertise in leading technology teams and overseeing significant IT projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including MAC systems, security, network and systems administration
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• A strategic thinker with excellent decision-making skills and a knack for problem-solving
