Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and accurately test patient specimens, providing results in a timely manner.
• Responsible for quality control testing per documented protocol, proper maintenance of laboratory equipment, and some x-rays.
• Able to identify problems that may adversely affect test performance, and document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS Certification
