Our Department of Anesthesiology is searching
for a full time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist for our clinical
practice. We are a community based, University affiliated teaching facility,
with ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 Pediatric
Trauma, and ABA verified Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Requirements: MD or DO degree, Arizona License, Fellowship Trained

Details: The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR. TEE equipment is available to our anesthesiologists for perioperative and critical care patients. About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year. In-house call is 4-5 times per month. The position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students. This teaching exposure creates opportunity for our physicians to apply to our university affiliations for academic appointment.
