Head of Home Care jobs in Carson City, NV
Head of Home Care leads and directs the daily operations of a home health care agency. Establishes and implements quality standards for patient care. Being a Head of Home Care measures and monitors patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensures that all operations and reporting requirements comply with regulations. Additionally, Head of Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Home Care typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status

- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques

- Perform Durable Medical Equipment (DME) setup and maintenance
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Provide health coaching and support to patients and their familiesQualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health or a related field
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, such as Note-E-Fied, DataSoftLogic, etc.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
