Head of Home Care jobs in Des Moines, IA
Head of Home Care leads and directs the daily operations of a home health care agency. Establishes and implements quality standards for patient care. Being a Head of Home Care measures and monitors patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensures that all operations and reporting requirements comply with regulations. Additionally, Head of Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Home Care typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. What does a Home Care nurse do?
As a Home Care Nurse you will be providing cares such as g-tube feedings, system assessments, and mobility/therapeutic assistance to a 14 year blind child in the Grand Junction area. You will play a critical role in this families support system ensuring that this young individual are able to live life as normal as possible. You will provide teaching, education, and clinically support the family with maintaining their child in their home setting. This would be a Monday - Friday daytime hour opportunity for the right individual.
