Head of Home Care leads and directs the daily operations of a home health care agency. Establishes and implements quality standards for patient care. Being a Head of Home Care measures and monitors patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensures that all operations and reporting requirements comply with regulations. Additionally, Head of Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Home Care typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with G-Tube Feeding
Trach suctioning, care and canula replacement, oxygen administration, venting experience
Medication Administration
Full knowledge of assessments and treatments
Respiratory treatments
Vest treatments
Sanitation/equipment cleaning
LPN's and RN's are required to be competent in communication skills, observation, assessment and documentation of care and infection control procedures
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while determining priorities and managing a changing environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and workplace
Ability to work NOC Shift 9pm - 7am with weekend availability
