Being a Head of Home Care measures and monitors patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensures that all operations and reporting requirements comply with regulations. Additionally, Head of Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Applicant must be caring and dependable. This job may include, but not limited to assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, walking, eating, exercise program, and emotional support, guidance with behaviors (all depending on client's needs).
Homemaking tasks may also be included such as washing dishes, cleaning kitchen, cleaning bathroom, doing laundry, vacuuming, dusting, running errands, etc.
