Head of Home Care leads and directs the daily operations of a home health care agency. Establishes and implements quality standards for patient care. Being a Head of Home Care measures and monitors patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensures that all operations and reporting requirements comply with regulations. Additionally, Head of Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Home Care typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Scheduled Days are Monday-Friday.
Hourly Rate is $17/hr

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Provide the personal care and support seniors/pediatrics/veterans/disabled need to live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders, document their condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California.
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
- CPR certification
- Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Current TB screening.
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, and ability to lift to 50 lbs.
