Being a Head of Home Care measures and monitors patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensures that all operations and reporting requirements comply with regulations. Additionally, Head of Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Home Care typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Requirements and Qualities of a Caregiver:
Must be 18 years or older High School diploma
Valid driver’s license and liability auto insurance coverage
Have a friendly, caring, and professional attitude
Core Job Duties:
We offer paid training to all Caregivers, which covers the following responsibilities:
Build rapport with clients, engaging in conversation and providing companionship
Ensure the client's home is organized and that safety measures are in place
Provide emotional support and encouragement
Assist with mobility needs
Provide client with transportation
Assist with non-medical hygiene and personal care needs
Assist clients with their prescribed healthcare plan
Monitor and report changes in physical and mental behavior
Position may include caring for clients with dementia
