Head of Housekeeping directs and coordinates the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Conducts inspections of facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed. Being a Head of Housekeeping ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. May create quality standards and monitors the implementation. Additionally, Head of Housekeeping may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Head of Housekeeping typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Head of Housekeeping typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Home Visitor
$15.30 Hourly CDA/$15.75 Hourly AA ECE or related field/$17.10 Hourly BA ECE or related field
Benefits:
This position is a home visitor in the home-based program option who is responsible for education, case management, and family advocacy to families in an assigned caseload by providing and linking families to comprehensive services including home visits and socialization activities. This position works with typically developing children and children with disabilities. Because this position is one part of a large system of services provided to children and families, this position also serves as a social service referral person and shares responsibility for parent involvement in the program. The position works in tandem with the rest of the parts of the system as an integrated team to support the goals of the program.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The minimum requirement is a current home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. AA/BA degree in ECE or related field preferred.
Schedule: Full-Time,8 hours,5 days Mon-Fri 40 hours weekly 52 weeks per year
