May create quality standards and monitors the implementation. Additionally, Head of Housekeeping may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Head of Housekeeping typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Head of Housekeeping typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol is looking for housekeepers to join our housekeeping team. This position will mainly be weekends so candidates must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are open 365 days a year, so candidates must be able to work Holidays. This is a part time position with the potential of being full time in the future.
