Your Responsibilities:

• Provide in depth housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and bathrooms, kitchens, woodwork (trim & baseboards), staging & tidying.
• Clean 2 houses per day - one in the morning, one in the afternoon (roughly 9am-1pm & 130pm-5pm)
• Same houses each month, rotates on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly houses
• Arrive on time, looking professional and a positive attitude
• Create a clean, neat and organized environment for my customers and their families
• Commit to your schedule, random calls out and tardiness will end in termination
• Deliver great customer service
• Thrives working individually. If any mistakes are made, be willing to make changes for the next cleaning with a positive attitude

Job Requirements:

• Available 3 days a week Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Friday. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS EVER. I believe that we work to live, not live to work. Time off with friends & family matter greatly to me. Average day is 9am-4, 5pm
• Driver’s license
• Must love pets. A lot of people have dogs or cats in their homes.
• Reliable transportation to drive to homes. Average commute is 20-40 minutes. Most of our clients in Saratoga, Wilton/ Gansevoort, Ballston Spa, Ballston Lake, ideal if you live close to these communities as your commute will be shorter
• I expect your best effort every time, as do my clients. This is why the attention to detail aspect is so important to myself and my clients.

Compensation:

• I pay a flat fee of $100 per house (before taxes).
• W-2 employee. Paid weekly (direct deposit)
• 2 Houses per day ($100 per house)
• Some houses are bigger, some are smaller (a range of 1800-2800 square feet). Some will take you 4 hours, some will take you 2.5. That is why I pay a flat fee of $100 per house. Averages out over time.
• Depending on the square footage and scope of the job, average "hourly" rate is ($25-$33 before taxes)
• If you fulfill your duties well and I can trust you and your cleaning skill set, wage increases can be discussed after 8-12 months on the job.

Jillian's Housekeeping is an independently owned small business. We specialize in detailed residential housekeeping. Prioritizing quality over quantity. One on one training with Jillian for the first two weeks to a month, you will be supported in this position. We want to see you succeed! A small group of wonderful cleaners will be your fellow coworkers. However, even though you do work alone each day, Jillian will provide support with any concerns you may have. You will be working with the same clients every other week or every month so you will get to know them and their homes. Part time position can be made into a full time position over time if you meet all job requirements and are a good fit with the company.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
