You will work closely with a team of engineers, geologists, and scientists on technically challenging and exciting projects.     Essential Functions-What You Will Do

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Oversee and manage environmental investigations with soil, groundwater, sediment, and soil vapor impacts.
    • Oversee and manage field crews and coordinate site investigation and remediation projects.
    • Work with the team to develop recommendations for environmental strategies, regulatory strategies. remedial alternatives, and remediation designs.
    • Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of geologic, hydrogeologic, and geochemical field and laboratory data.
    • Conduct groundwater hydraulic and contaminant transport calculations or multi-layer numeric modeling exercises.
    • Under the guidance of a project Principal and working with project team completing fate and transport modeling, geochemical modeling.
    • Design and oversee implementation and construction of in-situ and ex-situ remediation systems.
    • Prepare technical reports, presentations, permit applications, and bid documents.
    • Interact with clients to understand their challenges and objectives to deliver exceptional service to assist them in addressing their environmental challenges.
    • Incorporate innovative and creative sustainable approaches to remedial design and assist our clients attain their sustainability goals.
    • Mentor junior staff in technical and regulatory topics.
    • Contribute to our collaborative and supportive firm culture and become an integral part of the success and expansion of the firm in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

    Competencies-What We Are Looking For

    • Interested candidates should have 5 to 15 years relevant experience with a 4-year BS degree (MS or PhD Degree is preferred).
    • Possess or be working toward a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection LSRP license or possess or be working toward a Pennsylvania Professional Geologist License.
    • Ability to demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement or professional experience in relevant areas such as contaminated site investigations, remediation, and/or preparation of plans and specifications.
    • Experience in field investigations of soil, groundwater, sediment and/or vapor intrusion for environmental investigations. Experience leading specific field tasks, analyzing field data, and preparing reports or presentations from the field data.
    • Familiarity with fate and transport modeling, risk assessment and treatability studies are beneficial.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ArcGIS and databases are beneficial.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
