  • Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical professionals. Duties: - Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Help patients with mobility by assisting with transfers, ambulation, and exercises - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff - Provide basic nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and feeding assistance - Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients - Collect specimens for laboratory testing, such as urine or stool samples - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist in sterile processing of medical equipment - Provide support to patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments - Assist in critical care situations as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program - Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting is preferred - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures - Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment Skills: - Primary care - Sterile processing - Nursing home experience - Dementia care - Critical care support - Venipuncture (blood draw) - Gastric lavage (stomach pumping) - Spinal tap (lumbar puncture) - Home care experience If you are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply for this position.
