    Program Description

CEDARS is looking for an individual to assist in managing our Youth Intervention and Family Resources Programs in the Lincoln area. This person will help support our Community Youth Coaching Program and In-Home Family Services.

Community Youth Coaching is a youth-guided, family-driven service designed to provide an innovative, strength-based, supportive and individualized alternative to detention. The program works to strengthen community safety through intensive relationship building, skill building, and positive youth development. We aim to collaborate with the family in coaching and guiding the youth to influence positive behavior change.

In-Home Family Services is an evidence-based program designed to reduce risk of family disruption. This program utilizes in-home visits to build stronger family bonds, improve safety and connect families to community resources. These goals are accomplished through careful assessment and service planning, direct family engagement, implementation of relationship building, stress management and problem-solving strategies.
