Health Education & Coaching Director provides supervision and direction to a team responsible for providing proactive healthcare education and coaching to plan members. Develops and implements various health education programs and materials designed for plan enrollees, employers, and providers. Being a Health Education & Coaching Director monitors, assesses, and reviews educational programs for effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Health Education & Coaching Director typically reports to senior management. The Health Education & Coaching Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Health Education & Coaching Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of coaches, providing mentorship and guidance as needed
Develop and implement training programs for different skill levels and age groups
Evaluate and assess the performance of the coaching staff regularly
Communicate with parents and athletes to provide updates and address any concerns
Plan and coordinate gymnastics competitions and events
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives for continuous improvement
Requirements
Previous experience working with children
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of gymnastics training techniques and best practices
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required
CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
