Health Education & Coaching Director provides supervision and direction to a team responsible for providing proactive healthcare education and coaching to plan members. Develops and implements various health education programs and materials designed for plan enrollees, employers, and providers. Being a Health Education & Coaching Director monitors, assesses, and reviews educational programs for effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Health Education & Coaching Director typically reports to senior management. The Health Education & Coaching Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Health Education & Coaching Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
