Director of Behavioral Health Services. This position works 220 days, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.

Starting Salary: Annual salary of $86,678 - $97,475
(depending on verifiable relevant work experience)
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Behavioral Health Services facilitates the planning, developing, directing, monitoring and providing oversight of the day to day operational and fiscal functions of assigned behavior and mental health, including social services supports and related services. The position provides guidance and leadership to the district while planning services to meet a variety of mental health needs, and reviewing such plans to ensure compliance with State, Federal and local regulations.

- Ability to develop and oversee the district’s behavior and mental health program and to serve as a leader, pursing the goals of the strategic plan.
- Ability to supervise department staff.
- Ability to write, oversee and complete grant reports.

- Works in conjunction with peers to provide cohesive program implementation and communication across the entire program.
- Strong interpersonal skills evidencing the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of constituents with a focus on solving conflict without blame and managing difficult or emotional parent/community situations judiciously.
