Health Educator is responsible for developing and designing health education programs meant to increase community awareness and knowledge. Conducts needs assessments and keeps up-to-date on changes in health care technology to keep program material current. Being a Health Educator develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Additionally, Health Educator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Health Educator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Key Responsibilities:
    Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and initiatives for nursing staff.
    Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify learning needs and performance gaps.
    Facilitate hands-on training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    Collaborate with nursing leadership to support clinical excellence and adherence to best practices.
    Monitor and ensure compliance with continuing education and certification requirements.
    Lead orientation programs for new hires and ongoing support for staff development.


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferred.
    Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a teaching or educator role.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    Strong organizational abilities and a passion for teaching and mentorship.
