Salary: $17.91/hourly

• Recruits, retains, evaluates, and provides on-going training, using culturally-sensitive material when appropriate for prospective foster, kinship, and adoptive homes.

• Develops, initiates, and facilitates support groups.

• Works closely with foster care applicants to maintain and track relevant criteria for keeping home in compliance with FCLC guidelines.

• Coordinates and plans educational outreach events, relevant to child welfare. Must be able to speak in front of small and large groups.

• Works closely with families who have children places outside of the home to ensure treatment plan and developed goals are met.

• Participates as a member of a multi-disciplinary team for case conferences in regard to child welfare cases when appropriate.

• Develops and maintains Resources Directory and makes appropriate referrals as they apply to their caseload’s needs.

• Provides parenting classes or education to the community and families and be able to effectively communicate information and knowledge to all ages.

• Coordinates foster, adoptive, and investigate home studies as appropriate and necessary.

• Assist with transportation, supervised visitations, and respite when needed.

• Required to travel between both territories. This can include travel during inclement weather.

• Works to promote cooperative staff efforts to provide and maintain high quality service to clients and staff to assure quality client care.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
