Conducts needs assessments and keeps up-to-date on changes in health care technology to keep program material current. Being a Health Educator develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Additionally, Health Educator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Health Educator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking two qualified individuals to serve as Clinical Educators for the Physical Therapy Program. These individuals must have a desire to provide physical therapy services to patients/clients in the on-campus Faulkner Clinic while simultaneously providing clinical education and oversite to physical therapy students as part of the clinical education program. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
Both positions available are full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month clinical positions. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
