Conducts needs assessments and keeps up-to-date on changes in health care technology to keep program material current. Being a Health Educator develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Additionally, Health Educator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Health Educator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Bushy Hill Day Camp is looking for a Seedlings Educator for the Summer 2024 season! We are looking for dynamic, fun, and responsible staff members to supervise pre-school-age campers and make sure they have the most fun possible this summer! This is a perfect job for someone home for the summer from college. Future and current teachers and Environmentalists are STRONGLY encouraged to apply.
We are looking for energetic applicants who want to spend a summer outdoors, running around and creating lasting memories with our camper community. Counselor roles span supervising groups from ages 4 to 5. Counselors are responsible for running activities, such as hiking, field games, team building activities, arts and crafts; as well as lifeguarding, swim, and other waterfront activities (American Red Cross LGT training is provided).
Positions available have flexible start dates that go from early June and end mid to late August. Staff orientation will be completed prior to the arrival of campers. Training for all activities will be provided, as well as ARC lifeguard/CPR/first aid training.
