Being a Health Educator develops, coordinates, and disseminates educational resources and materials. May provide health education outreach and consultation. Additionally, Health Educator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Health Educator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Bilingual Health Benefit Educator
Location Options:
Assignment Length: Through end of 2024, opportunity for extension pending performance, availability and business need
Hours: No set hours, this role is on an "as-needed” basis as health fairs and other event opportunities arise
Pay: $25.73/hour (Paid travel time)
Languages: Spanish and English fluency
Position Overview:
The role of a Health Benefit Educator is a critical one to the success of our business. As the face of our client, your primary responsibility is to conduct enrollment events that differentiate our client from their competitors. In this role you will be educating customers on our healthcare offerings and plans through various formats including, but not limited to formal presentations, Q&A sessions, benefit fairs, health fairs, etc. Peak season will be from August - December.
