The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Educator – Behavioral Health to join our team at our Bridgeton & Woodbury, NJ locations. You will be responsible for assessing, promoting and contributing to the quality of nursing care administered to patients and their support systems throughout the health care continuum.

Responsibilities:

• Educate clinical nurses, nursing assistants and technicians in the use of new equipment, supplies and instruments and coordinate in-service training and skills workshops for all appropriate staff
• Assist the Nursing Leaders in achieving the organizational strategic plan goals by monitoring quality data and staff performance
• Analyze and refine nursing practice to generate an increase in nursing knowledge throughout the practice
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation to formulate plans of care
• Serve as a preceptor to influence staff nurses' professional development
• Design, deliver and evaluate outcomes to promote continuous improvement
• Motivate and educate staff to adopt new practice changes and adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree; Completed or in-progress master’s degree preferred
• Education in management, critical care nursing and public relations
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Strong communication, problem-solving and mentorship skills
• Current RN license in the State of New Jersey
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• National certification in area of specialty required within 1 year of hire date
