    Overview:

    ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to join our established and growing practice in Spartanburg, SC.

    ReGenesis Health Care (RHC) is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) serving Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties and offering Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Dental, Pharmacy, and Chiropractic Services for all ages. We are committed to improving quality of life by providing patient-centered affordable and accessible health care in partnership with communities we serve.

     

    In this vital position, you will provide leadership in all areas relating to the behavioral health department of ReGenesis Health Care (RHC). You will be responsible for recommending and implementing behavioral health policies and procedures, supervising the behavioral health staff, ensuring the continuous quality improvement program is administered in all behavioral health activities, and participating as an integral part of the clinical care and leadership team.

     

    Excellent salary up to $85,000 based on experience with excellent full-time benefits.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • You will direct the behavioral health programs of the organization according to the guidelines established by the CMO by supervising the performance improvement activities of the health center that relate to the behavioral health program, including the clinical care measures.
    • supporting and facilitating integrated care delivery of primary health and behavioral health care.
    • ensuring the development, implementation, and delivery of:
        • A formal communication process to inform about ongoing integration efforts at the organization, team, and individual levels.
        • A system that supports face-to-face and team meetings to discuss patient care.
        • An integrated model supporting a treatment plan for all patients.
        • Identification and use of universal and population-based screening.
        • Maintaining and developing community relations to include robust referral networks and partnerships to support patients' overall health.
        • Supervising the behavioral health team
    • You will serve as a Behavioral Health Counselor
      • evaluating patients’ mental and physical health, addiction, or problematic behavior to assess their readiness for treatment.
      • developing, recommending, and reviewing treatment goals and plans with patients.
      • connecting patients with needed and appropriate services including treatment, rehabilitation and service linkage, case monitoring and client advocacy functions.
      • maintaining confidential records of appointments, interactions and interventions.
