Health Informatics Manager manages a clinical biostatistics or health informatics team. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. Communicates with analysts, healthcare providers, and management to establish new processes and analyses, and to tailor current data processes to best help providers. Additionally, Health Informatics Manager requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Health Informatics Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Health Informatics Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, Clinical Informatics Nurse Educator will lead the system assessment, training, and optimization of informatics projects and ongoing staff education. The Clinical Informatics Nurse Educator will work with various hospital leaders and staff to plan and evaluate educational programs, serves as the liaison between the healthcare team and information services, leads system integration and implementation, and works to enhance the overall quality of care.

    Requirements Include:

    • Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing
    • Registered Nurse RN license in state of Maine or ability to obtain
    • Strong knowledge of hospital-wide quality and informatics standards
