This position will ensure data integrity of clinical imaging systems and provide monitoring and correction of data feeds from ordering, reporting, and imaging feeds to ensure records file correctly to multiple systems. This position is responsible for the building and deployment of new client hardware, systems to include preparation of system images, validating specifications to match application requirements, and inventory management. This position will provide assistance to more senior specialists as needed, as well as receive and process user requests related to support activities, to be prioritized and escalated as appropriate.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and one (1) year of technical experience. On-the-job experience should be supplemented with continuing education gained through technical seminars and/or training courses. 5 years of relevant clinical informatics or PACS administration experience may substitute for degree requirement.
Preferred: Experience as a technical administrator for EMR, PACS, and dictation systems in a clinical setting. Experience with data reconciliation, applications testing, and end user training.
