Health Informatics Manager manages a clinical biostatistics or health informatics team. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. Being a Health Informatics Manager monitors latest software and technology to keep processes up-to-date and efficient. Communicates with analysts, healthcare providers, and management to establish new processes and analyses, and to tailor current data processes to best help providers. Additionally, Health Informatics Manager requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Health Informatics Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Health Informatics Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Health Systems Informatics (HSi) is looking for a network technician to join our growing technology solutions team. This is a unique opportunity at a respected healthcare technology solutions firm. The network technician will be joining the high performing staff of our technology solutions division and will be a key contributor in the implementation of real time location solutions.

    HSi's network technician must be a self-motivated, reliable, and collaborative individual. They must have some experience installing technology and using computer programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install real-time location services (RTLS) solution throughout a hospital environment
    • Work closely within a team environment and take direction from the team leader
    • Radio-map and/or survey various zones throughout the hospital capturing data throughout

    Experience:

    • No formal education required
    • Familiarity working with computers and computer programs
    • Motivated self-starter

    Requirements:

    Applicants for this role must meet specific credentialing requirements to ensure compliance and readiness for the position. These include:

    • Passing a background check and drug screen
    • Proof of up-to-date vaccinations, as required by healthcare regulations and facility policies
    • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Physical demands and working conditions:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use repetitive arm/hand motions and finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Requires transportation to and from the site where work is conducted.

    • Ability to walk up to 10k steps per day
    • Able to work standing for hours at a time
    • Ability to install equipment utilizing a 6-foot ladder
