Health Information Services Director directs and oversees all policies and procedures related to healthcare information management. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the medical records and transcription departments. Being a Health Information Services Director reviews processes and identifies areas for improvement taking into account user needs. May act as liaison between information services and technology department, ensuring that systems are accessible and in accordance with the needs of the organization. Additionally, Health Information Services Director ensures that all record keeping and information disbursement complies with HIPAA regulations. Primary Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or Behavioral Health.
EXPERIENCE: Expert (established subject matter expert, 7 years of experience)
Five successful years of supervisory/administrative experience. Community mental health experience and budget management experience.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Meet qualifications of Mental Health Professional. Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Experience providing and/or overseeing behavioral health services to youth.
Experience providing and/or overseeing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders services.
LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC).
