Provide technical expertise in a wide range of information technology areas and management oversight of the resources of IT activity. Design, implement, and support integrated applications. Provide continuing oversight, technical guidance, long range and capacity planning, consultation, and leadership to personnel on a broad range of IT issues. Responsible for multi-faceted integrated systems involving cross functional activities, multiple technologies and platforms, and resolution of conflicting goals of various users, management, and IT personnel on system needs, operations and telecommunications problems, and requests for service.
Required Experience:

• 
  Asses IT needs and develop short and long range plans
• Determine equipment costs and develop budget
• Install and maintain hardware and software products and configure PC and network equipment according to standards
• Define system standards and procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN and WAN system,
• Perform LAN administration functions
• Resolve communications and networking problems
• Troubleshoot and resolve server and desktop operating system problems
• Verify stability of server and desktop computer systems
• Perform backups and preventive maintenance
• Resolve problems and coordinate with staff and vendors
• Maintain and write problem descriptions
• Supervise, train, and provide technical support and problem resolution to staff
• Implement and monitor procedures for security and disaster recovery
• Ensure all applications incorporate disaster recovery procedures
• Develop and monitor security education and awareness
• Implement and monitor security audit logs and access control practices to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Participate in recovery planning
