Health Information Services Director directs and oversees all policies and procedures related to healthcare information management. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the medical records and transcription departments. Being a Health Information Services Director reviews processes and identifies areas for improvement taking into account user needs. May act as liaison between information services and technology department, ensuring that systems are accessible and in accordance with the needs of the organization. Additionally, Health Information Services Director ensures that all record keeping and information disbursement complies with HIPAA regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, a related field, or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Health Information Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     What would this role do? 

     As an Associate Director of Clinical Services (ADOCS) with 360 Behavioral Health, you use and build upon the expertise you’ve developed as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your contributions are essential as you assist the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) for your site and support the Director in the performance of his / her duties.

    Working closely with your Director of Clinical Services and your Senior Director of Clinical Services , you provide direct case supervision and BCBA supervision; conduct functional behavior assessments; create, individualize, maintain, evaluate and supervise ABA programs; supervise, train, mentor and monitor assigned supervisors and BCBAs in training; and build best practices and support caseloads for your site. You also assist the DOCS to drive outreach and other initiatives with referral sources and the community at large to support new client referrals and growth for your location.

    Role Responsibilities  

    • Live the company’s business theory of Customer Focus, Total Participation, Continuous Improvement, Leadership, and Mutual Learning.
    • Closely support and oversee all clinical and administrative responsibilities with excellence for all departments in the local office.
    • Billable hours are based on office need.
    • Ensure that 95% of clinical supervision services are provided on monthly basis.
    • Ensure that 85% of clinical direct services are provided on monthly basis.
    • Provide clinical consultation including behavior plans and programming to clinical staff.
    • Provide Direct Case Supervision and BCBA supervision when needed.
    • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
    • Supervise and monitor assessments assigned from intake to completion.
    • Provide parent and employee trainings as needed and approved.
    • Provide written program summaries and progress reports for each individual case prior to assigned deadlines.
    • Conduct staff meetings and professional development meetings as indicated.
    • Participate in a minimum of 6 times a year in community outreach projects, presentations or events.
    • Ensure that all hours are being provided to the families with few or no cancellations.
    • Conduct Report Review/Revisions Provide case consultation to clinical staff regularly.
    • Establish systems to increase referrals and overall growth in the local office.
    • Ensure that the company’s “Zero Tolerance Policy” is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region.
    • Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance is understood, implemented and reinforced in the region.
    • Ensure compliance of certification for staff in the designated region.
    • Oversee service utilization for the designated region.
    • Accountable for the submission of reports on time for the designated region.
    • Ensure first dates of service are within the required timeline.
    • Address parental concerns and needs and attend Family Clinical Meetings as needed.
    • Maintain all applicable personal certifications, licenses, professional insurances, TB clearance up to date.
    • Name the company as certificate holder of the Professional Liability Insurance.
    • Submit timesheets on time.
      • Timesheets are to contain parent/client signatures (to be obtained after every in-person session with client). The only exception is for non-billable work or if approved by office Regional Director (to have RDOCS signature).
      • All parent/client signatures are to be collected and services rendered prior to the timesheet due date.
    • Complete other duties as assigned and approved by the Regional Director of Clinical Services.
    • Maintain telephone contact and a reliable method to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.
    • Maintain reliable transportation and current liability insurance for the vehicle.
    • Stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, walk, & sit/play on floor for extended periods of time as well as lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs without assistance from another adult.
    • Responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of the organization.
    • Consult and check in with Regional Director of Clinical Services weekly.
    • Report all urgent matters to the Regional director immediately by phone and follow up email.

    Must Haves  

    • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Special Education and BCBA Credential.
    • Excellent Clinical & Leadership skills.
    • 5 years’ clinical experience including:
      • Direct service with individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and a broad range of ages.
      • Individual client program development across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings (i.e., home, school, community).
      • Report writing.
      • Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies.
    • 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Supervisor or similar role including:
      • Formal staff training including didactic and in-vivo.
      • Formal performance evaluation of more junior staff.
      • Evaluation of more junior staff with respect to clinical programming, administrative tasks (e.g., report writing, timesheet submission, etc.), direct therapy, and parent training skills.
    • Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs.
    • Familiarity with funding provider standards and guidelines.
    • Mastery of empirical evidence for all service types.
    • Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent time management skills & skills to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Professional demeanor, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability serving culturally and linguistically diverse families in low and high SES areas.
    • Ability to maintain all applicable personal certifications, licenses, professional insurances, TB clearance, etc. on an on-going basis.
    • Ability to name the company as certificate holder of the Professional Liability Insurance.
    • Comfortable working in homes (studio apt, housing project, etc.) of families with limited resources.
    • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, professional composure, work well under pressure and politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative or aloof.
    • Demonstrates effective communication skills to interact with clients, family members, and agency’s staff.
