    As a Quality Inspector in our manufacturing facility, your primary responsibility is to perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining product quality, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Conduct visual inspections and use various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to assess the quality of raw materials, components, and finished products.
    • Ensure that products meet specified quality standards, specifications, and engineering drawings.
    • Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including measurements, defects, and non-conformities.
    • Prepare inspection reports and documentation, and communicate findings to relevant teams.
    • Follow established quality control procedures, protocols, and work instructions.
    • Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes.
    • Identify and classify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from quality standards.
    • Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent quality issues.
    • Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
    • Conduct product testing and sampling as required, including destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
    • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100, FDA).
    • Suggest and actively participate in process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
    • Provide feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams for process optimization.
    • Assist in conducting internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
    • Support efforts to maintain various certifications and accreditations.
    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality-related certifications are a plus.
    • Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a similar quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, reading blueprints, etc..
    • Strong understanding of quality control standards, principles, and practices.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
    • Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality management systems.
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding product quality and compliance.
    A Quality Inspector in manufacturing is a crucial role to ensure the production of high-quality products, minimize defects, and maintain customer satisfaction while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
