WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This position will oversee the Cardiology service lines for the Crown Point, Munster, and Michigan City physician practices.
Regular weekly rounding at each physician practice.
Directing strategic and operational planning to achieve clinical, financial, service, and people excellence.
Directing the design and implementation of policies and procedures for all administrative areas within the Cardiology medical groups to enhance operational effectiveness while emphasizing cost containment, high performance, and high-quality patient care.
To act as a liaison between FPN and Franciscan service line administration, hospital staff and/or FA personnel to support the establishment of new practices, relocation of existing practices, and/or the addition of new sites, physicians, and/or providers.
Ensuring all practice and program initiatives, activities and facilities adhere to all applicable corporate, safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards, policies, and procedures.
Partnering with Quality to assure excellent patient experience and safety in accordance with all policies and procedures.
Building and maintaining relationships with other practices and departments.
Creating and sustaining a culture in the practice that reflects the Franciscan Mission and Values.
Supervising managers or supervisors within multiple departments and managing the performance of these individuals through ongoing coaching, while giving feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
Developing and managing multiple departmental budgets, including making budget allocations, and approving expenditures while ensuring expenses are within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field - Required
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration (Business) - Preferred
5 years Healthcare Administration (Business) - Required
7 years Healthcare Administration (Business) - Preferred
Leadership Experience with Physician Practices - Preferred
