JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Vice-President of Financial Services, the Director of Revenue Cycle Operations plays an integral role in the reimbursement and collections operations at Grafton City Hospital. This position works closely with Hospital leaders to develop reimbursement strategies and controls to ensure financial viability. The Director of Revenue Cycle Operations leads the billing function and is responsible for ensuring the Hospital maximizes its financial performance. This position oversees the medical billing operation and staff to ensure effective management of receivables and is responsible for continually improving systems and processes.  As part of the Revenue Cycle Oversight, this position will oversee all revenue cycle operations staff, which will include Business Office and Health Information Management staff.   

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field is required.

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Additional revenue cycles or similar certifications are preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Seven (7) years of progressive revenue cycle and regulatory experience in the healthcare industry, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant management experience required.
