The Operations Manager, Family Health Center (FHC) is responsible for the leadership and management of their assigned clinic and services for FHC. This position manages staff, resources, and quality improvement activities of the day‐to‐day operations across multiple sites and modalities of care. This role is accountable for communication with internal and external stakeholders, serves as liaison between patients, staff, providers and administration, reports on program performance, and participates in improvement initiatives to achieve high-quality, inclusive, equitable and culturally and linguistically appropriate care in a cost-effective, patient centered manner.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Associates Degree in clinical, administrative or business related.
Preferred/Optional: Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration or other healthcare related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Five years management experience with less than a bachelor’s degree; or three years management experience with a bachelor’s degree; or two years management experience with a master’s degree.
Preferred: Five years’ management experience in a healthcare setting.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: State of Wisconsin drivers’ license with an acceptable driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire.
