    Summary:
    Direct and manage project development from beginning to end and seeing that it is completed successfully within the given deadline and budget. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans, financial plans, quality audit follow ups, and associated communications documents. In general this person is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of multiple, simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with UNCHCS strategy, commitments and goals.

    • Leads complex projects to successful completion using PMI or Lean Six Sigma methodology
    • Lead programs with a focus on implementation, collaboration, success metrics, and KPIs.
    • Able to influence and gain commitment from all members of project team
    • Able to identify and manage resources necessary to meet project needs (budget, personnel, and leadership)
    • Able to obtain and maintain executive support for project through communication and leadership

    Tools, Methodologies, and Technologies (TM&T): It is important to stay current with changing tools, methodologies, and technologies. The individual must understand different TM&T, how to effectively use these, and implement/apply them to solve business problems and provide solutions that enhance our operations, capabilities, and competitiveness

    • Identifying business issues that can be solved through application of TM&T
    • Working across department boundaries to ensure TM&T solutions are integrated into business processes and consistent with the systems strategic plan and vision
    • Able to teach project management or improvement science methodology training
    • Assist in developing training materials for project management and other improvement methodologies’ tools
    • Ability to investigate question, gather data, integrate, interpret, organize, and report information with the intent to gain understanding of a process including measuring the process/problem and identifying/confirming underlying root cause through analysis.

    Problem Solving & Implementation: Knowledge and ability to propose and create solutions based on information provided from process and problem analysis. Capable of converting information into functional implementations that delivers solutions.

    • Able to resolve conflicts in assigned areas and work with leadership to resolve across multiple departments.
    • Identifies methods for solving problems which eliminate steps, speeds processes, and reduces complexity.
    • Makes decisions based on analyses and data
    • Challenges leaders and their current processes when improvement is needed
    • Develops interventions and initiatives based on data
    • Able to resolve conflicts across multiple depts
    • Strives to implement solutions that span multiple depts/divisions

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field or equivalency.
    Licensure/Certification Requirements:
    • No licensure or certification required.
    Professional Experience Requirements:
    • If Master's degree, requires two (2) years of professional experience in project management related work.
    • If a Bachelor's degree, requires five (5) years of professional experience in project management related work.
    • If an Associate's degree, requires nine (9) years of professional experience in project management related work.
    • If a high school diploma, requires thirteen (13) years of professional experience in project management related work.
    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools required.
