Being a Health Underwriter performs group and/or individual underwriting. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Health Underwriter typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Our office is looking for someone who is passionate about natural healthcare, fitness, wellness, and health promotion to be an assistant to our chiropractic physician. It is important for this person to have the commitment, belief system, support and desire to live in integrity with his or her own health and the desire to help others.
Initial training will be on front desk/receptionist duties with eventual training as patient advocate. At that time you will be assisting in documenting patient encounters, assisting during examinations and helping to educate patients on a healthier lifestyle. Secondary duties would then include front desk work, light office cleaning, and inventory.
