National Accounts is responsible for strategy, sales, underwriting, account management and overall profitability for customers, including the Federal Government, with 5,000 or more eligible employees. The Underwriter will provide group underwriting services for new business and renewals of dental, disability, life, vision, and voluntary products for this market segment. This person will need to be able to evaluate risk characteristics inherent in group insurance plans for prospects (new business) as well as renewals (existing business). They will conduct a detailed analysis to establish profitable and competitive rates and plan characteristics given the unique circumstances and needs of each group customer.
