Summary of Essential Functions for the Position: Committed to Caring,the Executive Director that may also serve as the Agency Administrator, provides for the overall management of clinical, regulatory, administrative, clerical, and financial direction of the home health agency region for which they are charged and assumes responsibility for all personnel and business of the agency/region as outlined in the companys policy and procedures manual. Responsible for the conduct of the agency/region and assumes all responsibility for adopting, implementing, enforcing, and monitoring adherence to company policies governing the agencys operations. Ensures that all provision of home care services reflect the company philosophy, standards and Core Values. Adheres to all state, federal, accrediting organization and other regulatory guidelines as applicable. Analyzes, monitors and revises provisions of service through quality assessment and improvement programing, to ensure the safe, professional, efficient, and efficacious delivery of healthcare services are provided. Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Associates or Bachelors degree in the field of nursing. |
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Works indoors in Agency office and patient homes and travels to/from patient homes. Requires considerable physical effort most of the day including kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, exposure to temperature and humidity changes and maximal assist in lifting and/or transferring of a 100-pound patient. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet the essential duties of the position. Must provide evidence of annual TB test and other state-required tests or examinations. Be able to tolerate exposure to elements including, but not limited to, odors, blood, body fluids and excrements, adverse environmental conditions and hazardous materials. |
