Job Summary |
This position coordinates the 24 hour activities of the Operating Room/PACU. The Unit Manager is responsible for assurance of adequate daily staffing assignments, room functioning, equipment availability, staff performance and supply ability. Other duties include, but are not limited to, staff education, staff scheduling, evaluations, orientation of new staff, maintaining HFAP and State Board of Health regulations, maintaining policies and procedures, budgeting, attending managerial meetings, and correlating patient care within the unit and with other departments. Performs other duties as assigned.
