Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Being a Health and Safety Administrator trains employees on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Additionally, Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. The DOT Administrator serves as a subject matter expert, ensuring that our clients meet all necessary requirements and are equipped with the knowledge and resources to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Through effective communication and collaboration, the DOT Administrator will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to prevent tragedy and establish a strong culture of safety within their organizations. This role provides direct support to clients, helping them achieve and maintain compliance with DOT regulations and standards.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister all aspects of Driver Qualification File processing for customers.
Serve as a designated employer representative and point of contact for the CDL driver Drug and Alcohol program.
Analyze customer compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety.
In partnership with safety operations, provide consultation to customers on DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations, driver safety training and safety requirements, and company policies.
Manage annual and periodic compliance requirements such as annual motor vehicle reports (MVR) and annual limited queries (FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse) for customers.
Develop and provide regular reporting, audits, and training on DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Organize daily client training classes as applicable.
Assist with drug and alcohol screening collections.
Perform data entry on behalf of clients.
Process and review Internal data.
Qualified candidates must have the following competencies and qualities:

Capable of professionally and accurately conducting repetitive essential tasks
Capable of processing information quickly and developing solutions “on-the-fly”
Ability to interpret & communicate complex ideas effectively to a wide range of audiences.
Comfortable learning proprietary software
High school diploma required, any college education preferred.
Willingness to work in Mobile, AL at our corporate headquarters
Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
DOT and FMCSA and/or medical office setting experience
This role has no supervisory responsibility.
Work EnvironmentIn most cases, work will be performed in a climate-controlled office space.
TravelThis role requires occasional local travel.
