Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Being a Health and Safety Administrator trains employees on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Additionally, Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. - Current National Registry EMT
- Must have Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card by American Heart Association
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to travel preferred, not required
- Clean DMV record - no DUIs in the last 5 years
- Must be comfortable with public speaking
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, or sitting for an extended period of time
- Must be comfortable with bending, reaching, lifting and driving

Due to the nature of On-Site Health & Safety services, employees may have access to federally funded or owned jobsites/projects. As a result, all new hires and existing employees are subject to drug testing in a manner consistent with a federally compliant test. The test may include all substances that can be found in Department of Transportation-regulated tests. The timing of testing includes pre-employment, reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause, and return-to-duty.
Some employees may be classified as having safety-sensitive positions. These positions are identified as the following: Field Technicians, Supervisors, Managers, Field Training Specialists and any variation of those job positions. These positions are also subject to post-accident and random testing.
