Health and Safety Administrator jobs in Shreveport, LA
Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Being a Health and Safety Administrator trains employees on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Additionally, Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Summary:- Job Position: Construction Safety Associate.
- Rate of Pay: $ $43.00 per hour (based on experience).
- Shift: Day Shift - 5/10s could shift to 6/10's.
- Location: Spring Hill, TN.
- Assignment: 4 months or longer (Beginning ASAP).
Requirements:- OSHA 510, CHST Preferred or additional experience.
- Local to the project as no per diem is offered for this project.
- 5 to 7 years of construction safety management experience.
- Ability to start this project ASAP.
- Must have excellent writing and computer skills.
- Great communication - written & verbally.
