MKS Instruments is seeking an exceptional Regional Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHS&Q) Senior Manager to join the team. In this position, you will oversee compliance for all of MKS' Materials Solutions Division (MSD) sites throughout the Americas.
Principal Responsibilities:
Oversees EHS&Q-related legal compliance and MSD divisional conformance compliance processes in the region
Manages the local EHS&Q teams and establishing internal processes on reporting, experience exchange, communication, and deputization in the region
Manages the Product Safety Department (PSD) in the USA. Develop and maintain compliance programs specifically for product safety, product stewardship, and toxicological evaluation (TSCA) efforts
Manages and directs overall aspects of health, safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, quality management systems and security duties for MSD in the Americas
Ensures the implementation of integrated management systems that are designed to provide compliance with corporate policy and all applicable regulations, while contributing to the effective management of EHS&Q and its related risks/liabilities
Facilitates discussions and exchanges between EHS&Q global and regional stakeholders to drive for optimization of the global EHS&Q processes
Continuously improving and harmonizing the EHS&Q performance and culture for the region
Overseeing EHS&Q/compliance related investments of the sites and working with regional operations in proposing and/or executing the CAPEX projects
Travel Requirements: Up to25 % of Travel is required
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field of HSE required
10 years' experience in EHS&Q required
Experience in Chemical manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical or similar environment required
5 years' experience in management/supervision in related field of HSE required
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred
Ability to work independently and with a minimal supervision required
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office products) required
OSHA; EPA; DOT; IATA; regulatory compliance knowledge required
