Title: Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor
Location: Janesville, Wi 53546
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 Relocation

Founded in 1965 we are the premier producer of truck & van bodies in the US. We specialize in the manufacturing of dry freight, custom cargo, refrigerated truck & platform van bodies with 14 manufacturing facilities across the US. Our facility in Janesville has the need for a strong EHS Supervisor to ensure safe working conditions for all team members. You will be responsible for all plant level EHS activities and have the ability to implement new programs as you see fit to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support local health & safety processes w/i plant incl: JHA, PPE & assessments and behavioral
• Oversees shift safety coordinators, ERT/first responders, haz response team & safety committee
• Support local regulatory compliance incl: SWPPP, SPCC, EPCRA & RCRA.
• Evaluate effectiveness of hazard management systems, policies & procedures w/ changes that help eliminate injury
• Support site in investigating & reviewing near-misses & accidents
• Support site in review of injury & property damage reports in compliance w/ workers comp
• Develop education & training classes and support EHS site in new topics & classes
• Conduct on-site inspections to audit physical conditions & safe work practices

What You Need for this Position

• Bachelors in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental or closely related field
• 3 years of hands on professional health, safety & environmental experience in manufacturing
• OSHA 511 or OSHA 501 outreach trainer license can be in lieu of degree
• Knowledge of health, safety & environmental regulations at local, state & federal level
• Ability to utilize root cause analysis to problem solve within the facility
• MS Office & Outlook 365 experience ideal
