Responds to inquiries from vendors, payors, and providers regarding EDI issues with enrollment, claims, payments, and clearinghouse activities. Being a Healthcare EDI Analyst troubleshoots problems and deploys solutions to resolve issues. Conducts root cause analysis to prevent future problems and to suggest improvements. Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst work is closely managed. General Purpose:
Perform accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions and vendor relations for multiple clients.
Primary Job Functions:
· Respond to email and phone inquiries in a timely manner.
· Prepare and process checks in Acumatica upon approval by ownership for each client account.
· Research outstanding prepayments, follow up with vendors and apply invoices to prepayments.
· Communicate with AP Processors regarding specific invoice issues, approvals, and coding.
