Healthcare EDI Analyst provides technical support during and after implementation for electronic data interchange applications used in healthcare settings. Responds to inquiries from vendors, payors, and providers regarding EDI issues with enrollment, claims, payments, and clearinghouse activities. Being a Healthcare EDI Analyst troubleshoots problems and deploys solutions to resolve issues. Conducts root cause analysis to prevent future problems and to suggest improvements. Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst work is closely managed. Position Highlights
Visible position that serves as the nursing center contact for all Center Department Heads and Supervisors in Labor Management Policy, Process and Supporting Technology.
Control Nursing Department labor spend to minimize overtime and agency usage through effective scheduling strategies and insures adequate nursing staffing at all times.
Ensure Nursing Hours/Patient Day are at appropriate budgeted level and volume-adjusted schedule changes are made.
Orient new employees to Labor Management Policy and the expectation that employees optimize their schedules to meet the nursing centers' needs.
Serve as liaison with Staff with respect to work schedules

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred, or 5 years previous work experience preferably healthcare or long-term care with proven track record in similar position, scheduling or payroll. Experience with scheduling and pay practices in 24/7 union/non-union environment is preferred.
