Healthcare EDI Analyst provides technical support during and after implementation for electronic data interchange applications used in healthcare settings. Responds to inquiries from vendors, payors, and providers regarding EDI issues with enrollment, claims, payments, and clearinghouse activities. Being a Healthcare EDI Analyst troubleshoots problems and deploys solutions to resolve issues. Conducts root cause analysis to prevent future problems and to suggest improvements. Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst work is closely managed.     Client Data/Readiness Responsibilities

    • Provides end to end implementation project support
    • Develops process control enhancements and reporting improvements
    • Assists in establishing and crafting standard process protocols
    • Completes required controls to ensure detailed execution/delivery and handoff
    • Performs data conversion/transition data load/client validations and remediation
    • Assists in the development, execution, and transition of interim needs
    • Drive process improvements to improve efficiency, quality, client and associate satisfaction
    • Uses analytical approach to problem solve
    • Provide testing support by client teams as needed

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
    • 3 years of Health and Welfare benefits service experience
    • 3 years of experience (and demonstrated competence, depth, and breadth) of professional experience
    • Prior client implementation and\or platform migration experience a plus
    • Experience in Agile preferred, but not required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to independently handle one’s own workload
    • Regulatory and legislative knowledge in aligned service area
    • Understanding of benefits administration systems
    • Demonstrates superb communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Ability to conduct analysis and document findings
    • Procedure execution and process improvement

    • Align, plan, and implement new product capability delivery with in-flight implementations
    • Drive and / or support execution of key implementation activities (example: data conversion load).
    • Participate in validation and/or testing efforts to ensure results meet the client and/or product offering requirements
    • Collaborating with the Director- Client HealthCare Consulting to define client specific configurable variations to support a client plan and/or administrative requirements
    • Performing root cause analysis to identify gaps or trends for continuous improvement opportunities
    • Submitting requests and/or assisting with translation of business requirements to technology partners, as applicable
    • Crafting training material and reference material for participant services
    • Assisting and mentoring the broader team
    • Engaging in and/or leading ongoing courses to support continued personal development
